Privacy Policy

Phresh Care Co ("we", "us") is committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. It is written in plain English on purpose.
What we collect
- Identity and contact details: your name, email address and shipping address, collected when you place an order or join our email list.
- Order information: what you bought, when, and your order history.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see, collect or store your card number - Stripe provides us only with confirmation of payment and the last four digits for reference.
- Technical data: basic analytics about how the site is used (pages visited, device type). Where analytics cookies are used, they do not identify you personally.
Why we collect it
- To process and deliver your orders, issue receipts, and provide customer support.
- To send you marketing emails ONLY if you have opted in (for example via our email signup). Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate.
- To meet our legal obligations (tax and consumer law record-keeping).
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone. Ever.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers necessary to run the business:
- Stripe (payment processing) - Stripe is a US-based company and card processing may involve disclosure of transaction data outside Australia; Stripe maintains its own privacy and security obligations.
- Our shipping carriers (name and address, to deliver your order).
- Our email service provider (email address, if you opt in to marketing).
We do not disclose your information to any other third parties except where required by law.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe under PCI-DSS standards. We retain order records for the period required by Australian tax law, after which they are deleted or de-identified.
Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@phreshcareco.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable period. If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it; you may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with its date.
